Dua Island features a dramatic vertical drop from 5 meters to over 40 meters, draped with massive gorgonian sea fans, black coral trees, and clouds of anthias.
The destination offers both exceptional diving and snorkeling opportunities, with white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters above the waterline. Access is by speedboat from Luwuk in roughly 1.5 hours.
Yes — non-divers can snorkel the shallow reefs (1–5 m) and enjoy the white sand beach.
Beginners can access the shallow shelf (5–15 m). The deep wall is recommended for intermediate-to-advanced divers.
About half a day minimum. A full day allows multiple dive sites and lunch on the beach.
