Discover the untouched heart of Central Sulawesi on our 5-day, 4-night Luwuk Banggai Open Trip — a joined-departure adventure for travelers who want the full archipelago experience without the private-tour price. The journey opens at the cascading Air Terjun Piala waterfall and the curiously sculpted rocks of Batu Gundul, setting the tone for an itinerary where every stop earns its place.
From there you'll unwind on the soft sands of Long Beach before drifting over to Oyama Beach for sweeping coastal views. Bring your mask: Bontolan rewards divers and snorkelers with some of Banggai's most vivid reefs, while the glassy, spring-fed water of Danau Paisupok invites you to simply float and breathe. Two more hidden gems round out the underwater highlights — the sheltered Luk Panenteng Lagoon and Paisubatango Lagoon, both made for a slow, colourful snorkel.
The trip also threads together a string of quiet, palm-lined beaches — Pantai Poganda, Pantai Mandel, and Pantai Kilo 5 — where fresh sea air and wide-open horizons make relaxation effortless. Packed with reefs, lakes, waterfalls, and beaches across five unforgettable days, this Open Trip is the easiest way to experience the very best of Luwuk Banggai. Spots are limited on every departure, so reserve yours early and turn it into a journey you'll be talking about for years.
This joined-departure Open Trip starts from USD 330 per person for a Gardenview room and USD 350 per person for a Seaview room. It's a sharing package (two people per room); single occupancy is available for an extra USD 40 per person.
Airport–hotel–port transfers, private transport (car, fuel & driver), the Luwuk–Banggai ferry (economy, round trip), the island-hopping speedboat, 3 nights in Salakan + 1 night in Luwuk, 12 meals & bottled water, entry fees for every destination, a tour guide & tour leader, and premium documentation (drone, GoPro, after-movie video). Flights, tipping, and personal expenses are not included.
Every departure runs with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 participants, so the group stays small and personal. Please wait for our confirmation that the minimum has been reached before booking your flights.
Fly into Syukuran Aminuddin Amir Airport (LUW) in Luwuk. Aim to land by 10:45 AM on Day 1 and to book a return flight after roughly 3:15 PM on the final day. If your schedule doesn't line up, we recommend arriving one day earlier and departing one day later.
We run twice-monthly joined departures from July to December 2026 (for example, July 08–12 and 22–26). See the Schedule section above for every date, then choose your month and date in the booking form.
The trip suits travelers aged 8–50 in good physical and mental health. It involves a fair amount of speedboat travel plus light trekking and snorkeling, so a reasonable level of fitness will help you enjoy every stop.
Three nights at Wisma Alpren in Salakan — your island base — and one final night at Santika Luwuk Hotel. All rooms are AC with a private bathroom, shared for two people.
Absolutely. We can arrange extra nights in Luwuk or Salakan before or after your Open Trip — just let us know when you book.
